And we know you love us too. That's why you won't be mad about the recent server downtimes. Right? It started with a minor change in the Traffic Rank algorithm which triggered a... um. Well, I won't bore you with the details. People who love don't care about the details. And to be frank, we invest a lot of effort to simplify your world so you won't have to care.

Bottom line, please be patient while we fix things. I will post again as soon as I get the word from The Others that 8hands is back online.

This is the first post about The Product. Gosh. Being the product manager, I really wanted to write about how cool 8hands is, how we're going to change the world, about the cool features and the user experience. But I can't. Not yet. Saving Private Alpha, you know. So instead, I decided I'd start a thread listing cliches used by product managers, when they write their first post on the product's blog. Feel free to add your own.

1. We are working hard to reach the alpha deadline. 2. Wanted to post more, but I tripped on a slice of leftover pizza. 3. Stealth mode. Ooh. 4. Ooh, new servers. 5. Be cool, sign up for our private beta here. 6. Can't show you anything, so here's a bad picture of a geeky desk toy.
