I am really enjoying 8hands, it is handling a lot of information for me.
I've noticed that on WinXP, it generally is using a huge amount of CPU and memory. It's more memory than Firefox! Is there a way of scaling this down? Maybe even a setting to have 8hands check locations every X minutes or something?

Thanks for liking 8hands!
We are aware of this problem and are very close to release an important update (somewhere during next month). this update will increasingly reduce the CPU and the memory usage as this is the major issue we are working on right now.
Unfortuantly there is no way for users to control on how often 8hands will check your locations.
