8hands featured flickr stream: Lou O' Bedlam
So, in honor of the untimely announcement that Polaroid will stop producing their legendary film, we will feature people that take polaroids to a whole other level.
One such person is Lou O'Bedlam. He shoots perty girls and hip boys on polaroid film, lending the look an even further intimacy. His 120 shots are also great, so I had to include them as well. Unfortunately, that will be all he's left with soon... Enjoy.

8hands Featured Flickr Stream: Francois Coquerel
Somehow, through a Flickr hop-skip-jump I reached François Coquerel's photos. Actually it seems that François is responsible for the haunting shots on Cabinet de fumisterie appliquée's Flickr stream. Delving deeper into his stream, you find portraits that resonate a quiet that is coiling to break free. In the best of these photos, a whole life is told in the smallest of details - the pattern on a shirt, a scar, an old sofa. Minimal and emotional - I understand now that I have so much more to see and may never quite fully grasp in this beautiful stream.
