Word of mouth

Stefanos Karagos digs 8hands and posted a short nice review about us on his Anabubula blog.

Amit Agarwal from the beloved Digital Inspiration blog reads Anabubula and after reading the post he downloaded 8hands, and decided to post even longer review about us.

Goldi from the 8hands Mega Team also reads the Digital Inspiration blog and decided to post the review here as well:

Thanks for the inspiration, digital. :)

downloadsquad.com declares 8hands as "almost perfect"!

Our little purple octopus is all blushy now, because the great known and respected downloadsquad.com (that's us giving love back in an obvious and cute way) decided to give us some very kind words, calling 8hands an "Almost perfect desktop client for all your social networks" and emphasizing that "For a public alpha, 8hands is already a pretty darn good solution for anyone who spends all day logged into multiple social networking sites".

To them we say a huge whopping thank you! But let us assure you that we will not rest and we will not stop! We will only continue to make 8hands even better, because we believe that you all deserve a full solution for the mess that we like to call our online social life.

For now, all we can offer you is the current "almost perfect" alpha version. Download it here for free.

8hands is getting some public attention! Respect yo!

For those of you who are not following our media section very carefully, here’s a sniff shots of the recent blogs and websites that already installed 8hands and were kind enough to tell the world about it.

The buzz about 8hands has really got us by surprise, and not because we don’t think 8hands is the best thing happened to web 2.0 since tags, but because we are still on Alpha and still working hard to get all of the cutting-edge features that will make 8hands the finest application we've all been dreaming of.

So, just yesterday Deborah Schultz, the marketing director of six apart, posted an interesting post about a new term “Continuous Partial Attention” that basically talks about how “We manage our time. We don't manage our attention” (you can read more about this interesting theory here) and how 8hands helps you make your time spending on social networks to become more efficiently. We totally agree with Schultz about the necessity of a Mac version for 8hands and we swear by the octopus’ gods we want it even more!

Prior to Deborah’s post we were on the Download.com homepage! Probably the biggest site for downloadable application.

Here’s the link to download 8hands from their site. You can even add your user review about 8hands.

And then we had the lovely somewhat frank to write about us, and off course Mashable! And many others.

Finally, don't forget you can subscribe to the 8hands blog and get all the latest news about our application. Obviously the easiest way of keep you updated with our latest news is to add the RSS feed straight into your 8hands tool!
