After adding Facebook to 8hands:

• Your last Facebook updates and events will be shown in your "Latest Events" section.
• 8hands will import your Facebook friends and will add them to the calculation of your real top friends.
• Your own profile picture and Facebook pictures will be stored in the "Photos” tab under the "Media Zone" section.

8hands will notify you when you receive a:

• Friend request
• Private message
• New wall writing
• Notifications of many kinds
• New posted item

A popular social network based on photo sharing. In Flickr you can share and view images, subscribe to favorite publishers and socialize.

After adding your own Flickr to 8hands (personal source*):

• Your last Flickr comments and updates will be shown in your "Latest Events" section.
• 8hands will import your Flickr contacts and will add them to the calculation of your real top friends.
• Your own Flickr pictures & favorite pictures will be stored in the "Photos" tab under the "Media Zone" section.
• If you tick the "Get friends' media too" check box, your media center will also receive the recent photos of your Flickr friends.
• If you tick the “Notify when friends upload new stuff” check box, 8hands will notify you every time one of your contacts uploads new stuff.

8hands will notify you when you receive a:

• Friend request
• Picture comment
• Private message
• New posted photos from your contacts

*Flickr can also be added as a public source. By this we mean that you can add a desired Flickr profile solely with a screen name and then be able to see the profile’s pictures and favorite pictures.

• Your own YouTube videos and favorite videos will be stored in the "Videos" tab under the "Media Zone" section.
• If you tick the "Get friends' media too" check box, your media center will also receive recent videos from your YouTube friends.

You can simply add one of your favorite WordPress blogs or your own WordPress feeds to 8hands. Just insert a WordPress RSS feed and get real time notifications directly into 8hands.

After adding Twitter to 8hands:

• Your own profile picture will be stored in the "Photos” tab under the "Media Zone" section.
• If you tick the “Connect Twitter to the 8hands tagline” check box, your twitter profile will change automatically once you update you 8hands tagline and vice versa.
• If you tick the “Show Twitter updates in latest” check box, your friend's updates will be shown in your latest section.
